SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame has strengthened its goalkeeping corps with the addition of graduate transfer Noah Deitrich, one of the most physically gifted goalkeepers available this offseason.
The 6-foot-3 goalkeeper from Stevensville, Michigan, announced his commitment to the Fighting Irish after entering the transfer portal, giving head coach Chad Riley another experienced option ahead of the 2026 season. Deitrich arrives with the size, athleticism and commanding presence that have become trademarks of Notre Dame’s defensive identity under Riley.
Known for his explosive lateral movement, quick reactions and confidence playing off his line, Deitrich has developed a reputation as a goalkeeper capable of changing matches with his shot-stopping ability. Just as importantly, he is comfortable with the ball at his feet, allowing Notre Dame to continue building attacks from the back.
